"TO BUILD OR TO SAIL" WINS THE 'SENIOR' CATEGORY AT THE MANDURAH FILM FESTIVAL 2007
Fred was a last minute inclusion in the Digital Storytelling Workshop for Seniors conducted in April 2007. One of the participants was unable to attend and when Fred delivered his wife Marlene to the Workshop he was offered the position. He then had to rush home to gather his photos so he could join the group for the Storytelling Circle. His spontaneity has been rewarded with this well deserved win. Fred's story is one of persistence in building his 54 foot yacht in a suburban backyard.
