THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN SENIORS STORY COLLECTION

The FTI Alumni is currently seeking support for a Seniors on Screen Project THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN SENIORS STORY COLLECTION of one thousand stories which will capture in digital format the experiences of Western Australia's senior citizens.

SENIORS ON SCREEN FILM FESTIVALS 2008

Recently The Department of Local Government and Regional Development Active Active Ageing at the Local Level Fund approved funding for the FTI Alumni to present two more free Seniors on Screen Film Festivals. Planning for these two events has commenced.

SENIORS ON SCREEN FILM FESTIVALS 2007

A series of Free Film Screenings for Seniors followed by afternoon tea and discussion, plus Screening of Digital Stories made by WA Seniors.              Every Thursday at 1pm 17 May to 21 June 2007

On 1st April 2007 FTI Alumni conducted a 3 day Digital Storytelling Workshop where 10 Seniors selected from the Digital Storytelling Seminar, created their own digital story.  View the digital stories.

On 21st January 2007 FTI Alumni conducted a Digital Storytelling Seminar that was attended by 58 Seniors, 38 submitted their storylines for a digital story and a panel selected 10 stories that would be made at the inaugural FTI Alumni Seniors on Screen Digital Storytelling Workshop

A series of Free Film Screenings for Seniors followed by afternoon tea and discussion, plus an Introduction to Digital Storytelling.        Every Thursday at  1pm      26th October to 30th November 2006
